When the world hit pause during the COVID-19 pandemic, the live events and entertainment industry was among the hardest hit. At ARAM, we suddenly faced a flood of CVs from talented technicians, freelancers, and specialists — all looking for work as stages went dark and productions froze.
That’s when we realized the need for something more than just a temporary fix.
A Simple idea with a big mission
We launched the ARAM Crew Portal as a local initiative in Poland. The idea was straightforward: give AV, lighting, rigging, and multimedia professionals a simple way to connect with production opportunities. What started as a response to a crisis quickly became a structured digital platform for recruitment, communication, and crew coordination.
It worked. Fast.
Beyond Borders: Growing into a global crew network
Soon after launching the local version, we noticed something unexpected — applications started coming in from all over the world. Technicians from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and even Latin America had heard about ARAM’s international projects and wanted to get involved.
So we adapted. We developed a global version of the crew portal, making it easier for experienced professionals to register, showcase their skills, and be matched with productions across borders.
