Our company has several years of successfully producing events „from design to effect” where we provide comprehensive solutions and technical site with full support in lighting, multimedia, design and sound.
Our work began many months before the show, says Michael Mrzygłocki, ” we where responsible for the execution of the set design of projects for all 3 stages. ” The project worked closely with both the client and the executors, among others, Jack Van Daniels.
The resulting total of three scenes, including an impressive main stage with total span of 60m, located in Katowice Spodek. Two smaller scenes with a span of 12m and 16m respectively, and buildings for over 20 exhibition stands, which stood at the International Congress Center. Multitude of places that served by ARAM and a huge amount of equipment that arrived in 16 trucks meant that this year’s Intel Extreme Masters is a big logistical challenge but also a huge success!
At the same stand was used in 1000 meters of trusses and countless number of elements of different types and over 400 LED devices such as wash and strip and illumination. On the two smaller stages were used nearly 70 different types of lighting fixtures, and among them heads such as the Vari * Lite 3500S, Clay Paky sharpy, Fourlight FL-600.
The design of the main stage in Katowice Spodek is based on a system of Layher, which was illuminated by many kinds of moving and led lights. Lighting devices include: Clay Paky Mythos, Vari * Lite 3500S, Clay Paky sharpy, Clay Paky sharpy Wash, Clay Paky Alpha Spot 800 ST QWO, Fourlight FL-600, Robe Robin 1200 Four Light Blinders.
The whole system was controlled by GrandMA 2 and the whole show was programmed and implemented by Wojtek „Koper” Koperski , which is already the second consecutive year he worked on behalf of this magician-production.
Multimedia is primarily two huge projection screens 15,5×8,5m every where projections were made using Barco projectors connected HDF Barco HDX W26 and W20, which gave a total brightness of almost 50 000 ANSI lumens. In the main stage were used LED Grid, Curve-8, Flex LED, LED screens from Fourlight – with a total area of almost 200m2. Moreover, the horizontal lines in the stairs and in the central part of the video lines are made of Hi-Strip, with a total length of over 300 meters.

10 years ago we did an event to celebrate the Polish entry into the European Union. Similarly to Poland 10 years ago, ARAM was then different company. 10 years of Poland in EU is also 10 years of ARAM changes.
Today, we are a different company, we have the best multimedia equipment in Poland and dynamically developing lighting and stage design department. At this point I would like to thank all employees and associates who have helped us become what it is today ARAM!
And we promise to go further than in the pursuit of perfection!

List of equipment used in the production is so long that it would take too much time o list, but I can say that we used 12 trucks to carry them 🙂
Some key technology we used:

It is worth mentioning that the IEM in 2014 included four stages. Let us add that for the implementation of lighting at all stages of answers implementers working permanently in Aram. Compete on stage accompanied by the exhibition of nearly twenty exhibitors, provide a technique where the stage belonged to our tasks.
We are extremely busy with many shows we do in 2014 and I forgot to write and post some pictures about New Years Eve stage we did just month ago 🙂 So.:
Stage was equipped in latest Fourlight curtain including CURVE 8, Hi-strips and also our old but still in good condition LED GRID which was installed behind the squares. If you want to get more details about this show you can visit my Polish blog and of course translate by Google 🙂
Yes, this curtain in the center of stage is 8mm and it’s still transparent !
Finally I put all interesting photos and videos from the Miss Suprantaional 2013 in one place. There’s really a lot of photos so they are packed in dynamic video slide-show. Enjoy!
15th year selecting the World’s Best in Pageantry!
GB comment: No question here, Miss Supranational’s production values and entertaining quality is at its finest, delivering an upbeat, interesting and easy-to-follow format; the lights, the stage, the pre-pageant videos, all adding to the great job this pageant has been doing for the past years. They get the Gold Yulia for entertainment and innovation. In 2nd place, the Miss World competition although with some technical glitches, managed to delivered a great quality show with an impressive stage and some welcomed changes in the competition’s format. Miss Universe gets 3rd place, as entertaining and controversial as it has always been, we have seen way better productions in the past from this giant competition.
The set was designed by Jack van Daniels and ARAM is proud to be set design and building company and of course delivered all multimedia and lighting for this show 🙂
This year’s Opole Festival was the 50 anniversary! It’s an honor to be able to handle the festival my childhood I spent with my father at OPOLE many times.
So yes, Adam Mrzygłocki was the first Lighting Designr who introduced to OPOLE first parcans and the first ClayPacky scanners and also VariLite moving jokes!
Today stage is completely different than 20 years ago, has changed not only the equipment but the whole amphitheater. It is worth mentioning that many engineers and lighting technicians who are working today on TVP and then it worked there – but they were younger …. amout 20 years 🙂 It’s nice that the same people still remember my father.
This year, once again, for the light design was responsible Artur Szyman and set design has been designed by Giorgios Stylianou. This year we traditionally was responsible for all the LED Displays as well as over 1000 LED strips …. The effects you can enjoy the pictures 🙂 Nothing more and nothing less. Tastes are different but the job was done perfectly.
