PRIVACY POLICY OF THE WEBSITE (WWW.ARAM.EU)

  1. Protecting Users’ personal data is of the utmost importance to the Owner of this website. The Owner makes every effort to ensure Users feel safe when entrusting their personal data while using the website.
  2. A User is a physical person, a legal entity, or an organizational unit without legal personality, which the law grants legal capacity, using electronic services available on the website.
  3. This privacy policy explains the principles and scope of processing Users’ personal data, the rights granted to Users, the responsibilities of the data administrator, and provides information on the use of cookies.
  4. The Administrator uses the latest technical means and organizational solutions to ensure a high level of protection for processed personal data and safeguard against unauthorized access.

I. PERSONAL DATA ADMINISTRATOR

The personal data administrator is Aram sp. z o.o. located at Trakt Brzeski 118, 05-077 Warsaw, Poland registered in the Register of Entrepreneurs maintained by the District Court in Warsaw, Economic Division, under number KRS: 0000909406, NIP: 9522150051 (hereinafter referred to as the “Owner”).

II. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

  1. The Administrator processes the User’s personal data for the purpose of:
    • Sending a tailored commercial offer and/or newsletter at the User’s request.
  2. The User can also consent to receiving information about news and promotions, which will result in the Administrator processing personal data to send the User commercial information about new products or services, promotions, or sales.
  3. Personal data are also processed to fulfill legal obligations imposed on the data administrator and perform tasks in the public interest, such as security and defense tasks or storing tax documentation.
  4. Personal data may also be processed for direct marketing purposes, securing and pursuing claims or defending against claims by the User or a third party, as well as for marketing services and products of third parties or non-direct marketing of the Administrator’s services and products.

III. TYPES OF DATA

  1. The Administrator processes the following personal data: email address, name, Company name, position, country of residence.

IV. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

  1. Personal data are processed in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), OJ L 119, 4.5.2016, p. 1–88, hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”.
  2. The Administrator processes personal data only after obtaining the User’s consent.
  3. Consent to process personal data is entirely voluntary.

V. USER RIGHTS

  1. The User can request information on the scope of personal data processing from the Administrator at any time.
  2. The User can request the correction or rectification of their personal data at any time.
  3. The User can withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time without providing a reason. The request to cease data processing may relate to a specific processing purpose indicated by the User, such as withdrawing consent to receive commercial information, or to all processing purposes. Withdrawing consent for all processing purposes will result in the deletion of the User’s account from the website along with all personal data previously processed by the Administrator. Withdrawing consent does not affect actions already taken.
  4. The User can request the Administrator to delete their data at any time without providing a reason. The request to delete data does not affect actions already taken. Deleting data will simultaneously result in deleting the User’s account, along with all personal data processed by the Administrator up to that point.
  5. The User can object to the processing of personal data at any time, both regarding all personal data processed by the Administrator and only in a limited scope, such as processing data for a specific purpose. The objection does not affect actions already taken. Objecting will result in the deletion of the User’s account along with all personal data processed by the Administrator up to that point.
  6. The User can request the limitation of personal data processing for a specified time or indefinitely but within a specified scope, which the Administrator is obliged to fulfill. This request does not affect actions already taken.
  7. The User can request the Administrator to transfer their personal data to another entity. To do this, the User should write a request to the Administrator indicating which entity (name, address) should receive the personal data and which specific data the User wants to be transferred. After confirming the User’s request, the Administrator will transfer the data electronically to the indicated entity. Confirming the request is necessary for the security of the User’s personal data and to ensure the request comes from an authorized person.
  8. The Administrator informs the User about actions taken within one month of receiving one of the requests mentioned in the previous points.

VI. PERSONAL DATA STORAGE PERIOD

  1. Personal data are generally stored only as long as necessary to fulfill contractual or statutory obligations for which they were collected. These data will be deleted immediately when their storage is no longer necessary for evidence purposes according to civil law or in connection with statutory data retention obligations.
  2. Contract-related information is stored for evidence purposes for three years from the end of the year in which the business relationship with the User ended. Data deletion occurs after the statutory limitation period for contractual claims.
  3. Additionally, the Administrator may retain archival information on completed transactions as their retention is related to the User’s claims, such as warranty claims.
  4. If no agreement has been concluded between the User and the Owner, the User’s personal data are stored until the User’s account is deleted from the website. Account deletion may occur as a result of a User’s request, withdrawal of consent for personal data processing, or an objection to processing these data.

VII. ENTRUSTING DATA PROCESSING TO OTHER ENTITIES

  1. The Administrator may entrust the processing of personal data to entities cooperating with the Administrator to the extent necessary for transaction execution, such as preparing ordered goods and delivering shipments or transmitting commercial information from the Administrator (this applies to Users who have consented to receive commercial information).
  2. Apart from the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy, Users’ personal data will not be shared with third parties or transferred to other entities for the purpose of sending third-party marketing materials.
  3. Users’ personal data are not transferred outside the European Union.
  4. This Privacy Policy complies with the provisions of Article 13(1) and (2) of the GDPR.
