Overview:

In less than two months, our company was tasked with constructing a gaming stand for Samsung at Gamescom 2022. The stand was to be built on an area of over 500m2. Our direct client was Freaks 4u Gaming, a 360 marketing agency for gaming and esports.

Challenges:

The client had very little time to produce, and struggled to find a partner who would accept the deadline. The agency came up with a concept, a visualization, which we turned into a technical project. After that, we had to work on a very tight timeframe to get everything ready before Gamescom 2022.

Solution:

We were able to meet the challenge with the work of our two dedicated project managers: Kasia Szwed, who was responsible for the decor and Jacek Strugała, responsible for the technical production. We hired a partner for a stand construction, organized the team and were ready for the challenge. We worked hard to ensure that everything was completed. The whole production was supervised by our COO, Michał Mrzygłocki.

Results:

At the stand, players could experience a variety of products to content their gaming tastes. The booth had many sections for gamers eq. the ‘Ark Highlight section, where travelers could experience the world’s first 55-inch gaming screen with 1000R curvature, or the Odyssey Ark, where they could broadcast the Odyssey G70B and G65B gaming monitors with built-in Samsung’s Smart platform and Samsung smart gaming hub. With Samsung Smart Platform, visitors could wirelessly link to a Windows or Mac PC, use Samsung DeX, mirror a smartphone screen onto the monitor using Apple Airplay 2, access Microsoft 365 cloud services, and watch recent shows on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other major OTT apps. A hands-on experience area where tourists could play a game with Samsung’s gaming displays, and the ‘Samsung Gaming Hub Zone’ where tourists could entertain a cloud game with a Samsung display without any auxiliary models.
